What To Due Upon Arrival

Planting and Care
ButtonWith few exceptions, most people want to put their new plant in a beautiful new pot. Here are a few tips for the majority of plants ( unless otherwise noted).
* When your plant arrives, wait a few weeks to allow it to acclimate. This will mitigate the shock.
* When it is time to replant, use a good quality soil. One that is low in peat and high in perlite is suggested. I recommend Purple Cow Potting Soil.
*When removing from the grow pot, be sure to open the roots up so they can expand in there new pot.
* Be sure to not plant too deep. Leave 1/4" of the top of soil the plant is growing in above the new soil line. This will prevent soil accumulating around the stems and suffocation.
* Water deeply. Remember that this watering is not just for drinking , but to eliminate air pockets.
* Use a water soiable fertilizer every 2 weeks ( unless stated otherwise).
