Plant Pot Size: 1 Quart (13cm / 5.1")
×Bacurio delphinatifolius, also known as Senecio 'Hippogriff', Curio × peregrinus or Senecio × peregrinus, is a beautiful succulent plant with leaves that look like tiny dolphins jumping out of the waves. It can grow up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. As the leaves grow, they become more and more similar, perfecting themselves as an impressive potted plant. The small white flowers form tightly compacted puffballs with a halo of deep red to golden yellow filaments. They appear in the fall. ×Bacurio delphinatifolius is often incorrectly called Curio peregrinus, Senecio peregrinus, or Dendrophorbium peregrinum. This plant is not pet friendly.

When your new plant arrives, we have a few recommendations: first, immediately open the box, remove the plant from the box, remove the protective sleeve, and water the well. Allow your new friend to acclimate to its new environment for a few weeks before you repot it.
With few exceptions, most people want to put their new plant in a beautiful new pot. Here are a few tips for the majority of plants ( unless otherwise noted).
* When your plant arrives, wait a few weeks to allow it to acclimate. This will mitigate the shock.
* When it is time to replant, use a good quality soil. One that is low in peat and high in perlite is suggested. I recommend Purple Cow Potting Soil.
*When removing from the grow pot, be sure to open the roots up so they can expand in there new pot.
* Be sure to not plant too deep. Leave 1/4" of the top of soil the plant is growing in above the new soil line. This will prevent soil accumulating around the stems and suffocation.
* Water deeply. Remember that this watering is not just for drinking , but to eliminate air pockets.
* Use a water soiable fertilizer every 2 weeks ( unless stated otherwise).
